When Lisa Elkins co-founded 2 Point Perspective Inc. with her husband Ron in 2006, it was a true passion project. Over the years, the Chicago-based full-service architecture and interior design firm has helped a variety of clients transform their spaces through a wide range of services—including updating historic residences with touches of modernity.

Lisa elkins

Founder | Architect | LEED AP BD+C

Lisa Elkins is an Illinois licensed architect, interior designer and LEED Accredited Professional with more than twenty years of architectural experience in Chicago, San Francisco and London. Lisa has also worked as a furniture designer and an architectural writer, and has taught architectural design at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

RON ELKINS

Co-Founder | Architect | NCARB | LEED AP BD+C

Ron Elkins is a licensed architect in IL, IN, MI, MN, MO, NC, NJ, VT, WI, a City of Chicago Self-Certified Architect, a LEED Accredited Professional, and a member of Passive House Alliance US (PHAUS). Ron has over twenty-five years of diverse experience in Chicago, San Francisco and London. Ron has been the project architect for award-winning projects including religious facilities, retail, justice, medical, office, and high-rise projects.

Emily tjeerdsma

Architect | NCARB | LEED AP BD+C

Emily Tjeerdsma is an Illinois licensed architect and LEED Accredited Professional with over fifteen years of architectural experience in the Chicago area. She has recently been promoted to the role of partner and is currently a project manager for both commercial and residential projects at 2 Point. Emily is an active member of USGBC and E2 (Environmental Entrepreneurs), and she manages LEED project coordination and documentation at 2 Point.


Kimaada Moore

Senior Interior Designer

Kimaada Moore has more than 15 years of interior design experience in the Greater Chicagoland area. Her work in design has been all-encompassing, covering client consultations, finish selection, space planning, and project management. Additionally, Kimaada is an active participant in non-profit programs such as Designs for Dignity, where she shares her design experience with deserving communities.

HANNAH BERNAS

Architectural Associate | Project Coordinator

Hannah Bernas joined our team in 2020 after graduating from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a bachelor’s degree in Architecture. As part of our team, Hannah helps keep us organized and on track throughout the entire design process. She brings 2 Point’s ideas to life through her extensive knowledge of digital drafting and 3D modeling. Hannah’s goal is to learn more about sustainable design and achieve LEED certification as she grows within our firm.
